With experience operating in numerous roles, L. Jay Mitchell is currently the principal and owner of the Greenbrier Academy for Girls, a boarding school for troubled young women that he established in 2007. In the role, L. Jay Mitchell is responsible for the daily management of the school, where he also helped to develop a curriculum that addresses the academic and therapeutic needs of its students.
Mr. Mitchell also served as the director of the SUWS Adolescent Program, an Idaho-based adolescent intervention program that he established in 1982. Following this, he was the director of The Alldredge Academy, which he founded in 1998 and was renamed Alldredge Wilderness Journey after its sale in 2006.
L. Jay Mitchell is a qualified attorney who served as a partner at the May, May, Sudweeks, Stubbs, Schindurling, and Mitchel, where he developed a sub-specialty in psychological and personal injury cases. He also drew on his juris doctor while in the United States Air Force, where he regularly represented military professionals during court-martials.Education
